Meet the Author
Debbie is a celebrated author, having earned an Honorable Mention in the Children's Category of the Eric Hoffer Book Award. She was also shortlisted for the Grand Prize and recognized as a finalist for the First Horizon Award for her debut book, A Walk with Cooper. Beyond her writing, she is dedicated to empowering educators and social workers to break the cycle of burnout. Through her distinctive approach to executive coaching and engaging learning experiences, she helps build effective habits that foster calm, clarity, and joy.
Writing children's books, brings together two loves for Debbie; the joy of interacting with children through read aloud sessions and the love of her fur baby Cooper. Through her storytelling, she aims to bring smiles to her readers and encourage them to appreciate the simple joys of life.
The daughter of Puerto Rican parents, she grew up in Lower East Side of NYC and now lives with hubby and fur baby in New Jersey.
